Can Flarseo change anything in my Google account?

No. The permission granted is read only on performance data and allows no changes. You can revoke it from your Google account security settings at any time.

Does the service work without this connection?

It works, but it decides with less information. Without Search Console the system relies on the SEO provider's search data and on competitor analysis, which are market estimates rather than your real traffic.

Does it have to be the same account as Google Business Profile?

Not necessarily. They are two independent connections and you can use different accounts, as long as each one has permissions on the resource you want to connect.

How it works

From real data to the next article

You authorise Flarseo to read the performance data of your Search Console property. The system pulls it regularly and puts it next to what it has published: which searches bring visits, which ones show you but earn no clicks, which pages have slipped and which are climbing.

Which way things move

From Google to Flarseo, read only: queries, impressions, clicks and average position for your pages.
From Flarseo to Google: nothing. The connection does not write, does not submit pages and does not change your property.
Inside Flarseo: that data feeds the editorial plan and the choice of which pages to refresh.

How it is set up

You start the connection from the platform and sign in with the Google account that owns the property.
You grant read only permission on the performance data.
You pick the property to connect, if you manage more than one.
The connection can be revoked from the platform or from your Google account, at any time.

What you get out of it

The editorial plan stops being a list of plausible topics and becomes an answer to real questions, already asked by real people. Searches where you sit at the bottom of the first page are usually the fastest way to earn visits: those get worked on before anyone invents new topics.

For technical diagnostics, Google alerts and crawling issues the tool stays yours, and it is worth keeping an eye on it.

It does not fill in the past

Google offers a limited history window and the data arrives with a few days of delay. Connecting today does not surface previous years.
